Septem Montes, Inc. is a young company. We build the AI foundations for long-form fiction: the tools authors use to write it, and the systems that carry it across languages.

“Septem Montes” is Latin for the Seven Hills of Rome, the seven hills the city was built on. It is a nod to foundations: the ground something lasting is raised on. The seven-hill motif carries through to our wordmark.

Long-form fiction is hard for machines. A novel has to stay consistent over hundreds of thousands of words, and its translation has to keep that consistency across languages. We are focused on getting this right, and our work ships in Tellura.
